SOS Foundation is deeply committed to environmental conservation and sustainability, acknowledging the critical need to protect our planet for future generations. As part of its eco-friendly initiatives, the foundation has undertaken various projects to address environmental challenges.

One noteworthy project is the SP Chowk Monument in Multan, which showcases SOS Foundation’s dedication to urban beautification and green initiatives. The rectangular tower monument, adorned with Islamic calligraphy, stands as a symbol of environmental consciousness and urban upliftment.

Moreover, SOS Foundation actively promotes afforestation and the creation of green spaces. Through the “Green Multan” project, the foundation has contributed to planting trees across the city, significantly impacting air quality and combating climate change.

Additionally, SOS Foundation is involved in constructing RO Water Filtration Plants to provide access to clean drinking water in underserved areas. This initiative not only addresses water scarcity but also helps in reducing the consumption of single-use plastic bottles.

By spearheading these environmentally conscious endeavors, SOS Foundation is fostering a greener, healthier future for the communities it serves. The foundation’s unwavering commitment to environmental preservation makes it a vital player in the collective effort to protect and sustain our planet.

Kanwar Muhammad Tariq

Executive Director

Kanwar Muhammad Tariq hails from Multan being born into a military family; whose father had participated in Pakistan-India wars of 1965 and 1971. He went on to complete his academics from Multan specializing in Business Administration & Management.

 

He has vast professional experience of more than 27 years in Management Sciences, Strategy and Planning and his competency in operation execution has enabled him to successfully create international linkages, manage projects & establish various companies.

 

Kanwar Tariq has been privileged and honored to have accepted the assignment of Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Paraguay since 2011. He has been playing a pivotal role in enhancing and strengthening the ties between both countries and continues to serve the Government of Paraguay in this capacity.

 

In addition to the diplomatic office he holds, Mr. Tariq also over sees many businesses as head of the organization; in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer (CEO):

  • National Institute for Forensic scinces – Balochistan
  • National Institute of AI & Robotics – GB

It is only recently that his dream of providing a learning platform for the youth of Pakistan in the specialized field of Security Sciences has come true; he has initiated the inception of National University of Security Sciences, a first of its kind in Pakistan. He currently also presides over the Board of Trustees of National University of Security Sciences (NUSS).
